KCL worked hard with our Oracle partners to integrate the KCL document management solution into Oracle’s e-business suite. This has allowed us to give the business more visibility of important contracts in a timely and efficient manner and decreased the number of misplaced contracts by over 30%.

KCL’s document management system allowed our payroll department to automate and streamline two manual paper based processes using the already established fleet of photocopiers to scan “fit to work” and “statutory sick pay claim forms”. This both improved the speed at which the administration was completed but also improved the accuracy and reduced the number of lost forms.
KCL carried out the back scanning of 6,000 current employee medical records when we opened a new Occupational Health department and provided a solution for and set up a robust employee recording system. KCL carried this out within a short specified timescale which enabled the OH team to continue operating normally.
Our objective was to reduce the amount of paper in its HR function. We secured the services of KCL to back scan the HR records at the time of the project and ensured moving forward paper records were to be taken from site and back scanned against the appropriate employee record. This has improved the time taken for documents to be retrieved and has ensured less paper work has been misplaced.
KCL provided their “RailScan” document management software solution to allow us to securely scan, archive and manage the critical fleet and safety standards information needed by each of the depots and engineering staff. This saved both time and effort in what had traditional been a box file task.
