The Cyber Essentials certification is considered the basic first step towards a more secure network, protecting businesses from up to 80% of the most basic cyber security breaches. Developed and operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), it offers a comprehensive framework for businesses of all sizes across all sectors.

Cyber Essentials offers a range of certification levels, and Cyber Essentials Plus is the most comprehensive certification. This level of certification involves an exhaustive assessment of an organization’s cybersecurity systems by expert evaluators, who conduct vulnerability tests to ensure that the organization has implemented the necessary measures to defend against hacking and phishing attacks.
